So, we do not suggest drinking directly from the river or tap. We highly recommend using water purification tablets or a filtering pump. After, you can drink water.

Transportation

We use the private car, van, or Hiace depending on the group size for airport pick-up and drop-off services. But, we use local transportation services from KathmanduSyabrubesi and Kathmandu. If you want to be more comfortable then. We will book a private jeep, but the cost will be extra. The private jeep costs 190 to 250 U$D one way.

Physical fitness required

It is a moderate trek where you often have to walk 6 to 7 hours a day. You do not need to have experience in trekking or hiking but if you have done any types of trekking or travel activities then it will be beneficial. It might be the only difficult part is when high altitude sickness and the influence that it can have on your physique. Before coming to Nepal it is a good idea if you can prepare yourself for physical fitness by increasing your stamina.

Travel Insurance

Trekking with travel insurance allows you to travel freely. Your travel insurance must to coverage include medical treatment and helicopter evacuation services. The Tamang Heritage Trek & Langtang Valley route doesn’t have any hospital or medical facilities during the trip.

If you get high altitude sickness or are badly hurt and need to evacuate to Kathmandu, travel insurance is most important. Without travel insurance, you should pay rescue charges, which can be expensive. Therefore, we highly recommend that trekkers purchase travel insurance for the Tamang Heritage and Langtang Valley trek.

Wi-Fi services

During the Langtang Valley combined with the Tamang Heritage trail trek, you can use the internet services at the tea houses/lodges where you will stay, but they might be charged an extra cost. You can contact your family or friends from there. However, in the high-elevation area. We will use cell phones to communicate.

NTC Sim Card

During the trek, sometimes Wi-Fi also does not work. You have an alternative option to use the internet along the journey. We highly recommend buying a local NTC SIM and data pack in Kathmandu. After you can use the internet in the mountains area.
