I went on a solo trekking trip on March 8, 2025, with the support of Himalayan Local Guide Pvt. Ltd, hiring a porter through their service. They also handle your Paperworks for Trekking Permit .Upon my arrival in Kathmandu, the HLG (Chitra Gurung ) team arranged a meeting to finalize my itinerary. They were very professional, accommodating, and helpful in ensuring that everything was well-prepared for the journey.
Due to a four-hour flight delay, I unfortunately didn’t have the chance to meet my porter in Kathmandu, as he had to leave early for Pokhara. The next morning, I flew to Pokhara, where my porter, Ramesh Gurung, was already waiting for me at the airport. After collecting my luggage, we took a taxi to the Jeep Station around Hari Chowk. Since it was already quite late, we decided to go straight to Ghandruk by Jeep, and soon after, our adventure officially began.
From Ghandruk, we started our trekking journey towards Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Throughout the trip, I was blessed with an amazing experience. Ramesh was not only friendly and patient but also highly supportive, always ensuring I was comfortable and well taken care of. His assistance made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable.
Trekking through the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, experiencing the warm hospitality of the locals, and overcoming the challenges along the way made this an unforgettable experience in my life.
